PBCOM Lights Up the Season with "For Joy" Campaign and Feeding Futures PH Partnership

PBCOM brought warmth, hope, and community spirit to the PBCOM Tower lobby last November 17, 2025 with its annual tree-lighting ceremony, marking the official launch of its 2025 holiday "For Joy" initiatives. This year, the bank is proud to partner with Feeding Futures PH, a non-profit organization committed to tackling childhood malnutrition by providing daily, nutritious meals to undernourished school children.

The ceremony was attended by PBCOM's senior management team, led by President & CEO Patricia May Siy, who emphasized the importance of kindness, solidarity, and the spirit of giving. Representatives from Feeding Futures PH were also present, led by Program Director Fr. Luis Garza, LC.

In his remarks, Fr. Luis delivered a powerful message: feeding children is not merely for the betterment of the nation, but for nurturing the very generation that will lead that nation better. This aligns with the organization's current work at Ilugin Elementary School in Pasig City, where they utilize a low-cost model to deliver high-quality nutritious meals daily.

A Season of Giving: The "For Joy" Initiatives

At the heart of the ceremony was the launch of three meaningful programs under PBCOM's "For Joy" campaign, each designed to make a real, tangible difference for children supported by Feeding Futures PH.

Mug for Joy

A new addition this year, the "Mug for Joy" allows donors to purchase a specially designed mug for ₱250. Every purchase contributes to the cause, ensuring that two schoolchildren receive a warm, nutritious lunch.

Ornament for Joy

For a donation of ₱1,000, donors receive a personalized Christmas ornament. These ornaments serve as a beautiful symbol of generosity, with proceeds providing free lunch for 3 weeks to a student from Ilugin Elementary School. Recipients can hang the ornament on the PBCOM lobby tree or display it at home.

Toy for Joy

PBCOM also invites staff, clients, and guests to donate unused or gently preloved toys. The belief is simple yet powerful: even a small toy can bring comfort, happiness, and a spark of magic to a child this Christmas.
